Grolsch Holland
The only remarkable trait of this solid Dutch beer is its peculiar cork apparatus. A little metal/rubber contraption makes Grolsch bottles easily resealable, which means that you can stash it inside your jacket without fear of spillage. This beer is sort of a bastard child of two other green bottled favorites -- it has the pungent tartness of Beck's and the smoothness of Heineken. The real problem with Grolsch is that there's no good reason to chose it over either of the aforementioned (and usually cheaper) two European brews. Plus, that weird cork kind of makes the bearer look like someone who wants to be known as a some sort of Germannord Von Kaiser Soze beer expert but shops at the bodega.
