Although this premium English ale is tasty, it probably isn't worth its steep price. The bloody Brits have been making the stuff at Strangeways Brewery for 200 years, which is about a cool a name for a brewery as we can think of. The pale potable is often served with a lemon, which kind of cuts the balls off a drink that should be renowned for being guzzled by Manchester soccer hooligans. If I was joining a frenzied horde of Beckhamesque mohawk-domed madmen in throwing bottles at constables, the last thing I'd want to worry about was finding a lemon for my beer.
