Sam Adams Light United States
For a year-long span ranging from the TBA/Fader of 2003 until some time in oh-four, Sam Adams replaced Tiger Beer as the offical complementary beverage of NYC hipster gatherings. It wasn't an exaggeration to say that there were two parties a week where you could knock back a dozen bottles of Sam Adams Light on some gratis boozing shit. Its taste is relatively similar to regular Sam Adams, but there's something weirdly syrupy about the whole affair. Besides, now we're getting Red Stripe for free every other evening, so who even remembers when Sam Adams was desperately hustling the Scion/Jazzy Jeff angle? Read more articles in Beer Garden » |
