Streets is Watching Hip-Hop Gossip: tell us the juiciest rumor and win a prize. A lot of you probably lie awake at night staring at the asbestos-flaked ceiling and pondering what a scrawny insignificant creature such as yourself can do to make the world a better place for all of humanity. When you're finished with that fruitless conquest, get involved in Loosie's Hip-Hop Gossip contest. Send us an item about a rapper or bunch of rappers and we'll publish the ones that are most salacious, vicious and funny. Rules: Entries should not be some bullshit you read online or in a magazine at the barbershop while waiting on a Gumbi. We want material as close to firsthand as possible -- although a friend of a cousin's gay electrician's landlord is also a valid source (note: Ahmed Chalabi, however, is not). Write up the item as colorfully and with as many details as possible and send it off to contest@loosie.com. We'll pick the best entries and give away the following: First prize: Limited edition Beastie Boys Solid Gold Hits DVD/CD featuring all videos for 15 songs Second and Third Prizes: large Beastie Boys Solid Gold Hits snipe poster, logo sticker set, Gold Hits cling Since the Beasties were trill enough to holler at Loosie, here are a few links to a live version of "Brass Monkey" at MSG in 2004 included on the first-prize DVD.
